What on earth is wrong with the Sky website?

I'm a returning customer looking at getting broadband.  everytime I try to buy it online I get right to the end to confirm and then it crashes saying they're having technical difficulties please try again later.  I've been trying since yeasterday.  Doesn't instill me with confidence!

Give Sky a call and an agent can place the order for you or alternatively use the switching process from your current ISP.

How long ago was it since you left Sky because if it has been more than 18/24 months you would need to sign up again as a new customer so when doing so make sure you are not signed into your previous account. This will mean providing either a new email address or if you want to use the same one you will need to remove it from your other account first.

I was told by Sky that recent leavers are prohibited from new customer deals. I found this when trying to sign up for a second time after having to cancel the initial order. Like you, it went all the way to the end of the sign-up before failing. The only way I could force it through was to select the option that I was moving to the property. Might be worth a try.

All sorted now.  Spoke to a customer rep and got what I wanted for a good price.  Thanks
