What does the booster look like

Is the booster a separate device if so what does it look like as I'm being charged for it and I don't think I have one

@MisterO therecare various wifi boosters as detailed here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-booster-what-do-you-need-help-with with pictures of each one. You need the correct model to match your hub Sky currently only normally  supply the Sky WiFi. Max pods.

Note that 'Broadband Boost' is the marketing name for the subscription supplement rather than a physical booster device.
