Weak Wi-Fi
I have a room in my house (maybe 15 foot from the router) where the wi-if signal is so weak that the tv/laptop/mobile phone often cannot pick it up. How can I fix this?

Re: Weak Wi-Fi
Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.
Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.

Re: Weak Wi-Fi
Thanks for you reply but it doesn't really offer a solution. As you say, the hyperlinks just take me to webpages that are trying to upsell.
My Sky-Q in the room in question is one of the things that's affected by it which means that I can't get access to services I'm paying for. Any Sky employees have suggestions please?

Re: Weak Wi-Fi
Sky employees don't answer individual queries in the forums.
As I posted, if Q television equipment is affected then the extra cost supplements don't apply and Sky loans booster hardware 'free': you'd need to phone Sky and go through a telephone diagnosis specific to the Q hardware.
In those circumstances it's best not to confuse things by mentioning other WiFi issues to the contact centre person.
