I live in the very North of Scotland without fibre so we rely on the old fashoined phoneline broadband connection. We get a max 10mbps which is just enough for our Sky Stream to work reasonably well. We have just upgraded to a Sky Max unit and since then the signal flucuates between 1-9mbps especially in the evening. We are about 2 miles away from the exchange box.
