WI Fi dropouts authentifiction issus
Since replacing our BT broadband and router with Sky, in December 2025, we have experienced continual problems with WIFi dropouts on all and any connected devices. No pattern, seemingly random...very annoying and disruptive. Never happened before with the BT service. This happens every day, numerous times...cannot count the number of times I have re-set the router. Have gone through Sky's diagnostics and all has been reported fine. The Broadband speed is good and my devices connected by ethernet cable are solid...no issue. There are only two of us in this household so never many devices operating at any one time. Have been promised an engineer visit but it has never materialised. If I cannot get this resolved I think I may just have to go back to BT..It's so irritating. I notice that there are two other Sky BBand installations nearby...could there be a conflict of channels ? Help please.

@ChrisBall1 Do you see anything on the hub when it happens, look at the link below? From EE to Sky myself 18 months and virtually no problems, sky hub was only on about 8 weeks but did not fault out once at all on the Fibre connection! As you are only having wireless wifi issues what sky hub are you using, black or white?
This link below provides information about the coloured lights on the various hubs that can help to see what is going on! If the system is also Full Fibre then the lights on the OR/CF ONT also require to be looked at!
