The WAP is missing from MY SKY. It is not where it usually was have looked for possible places it could have moved to but with no look. I need to alter the WAP as my Google equipment is not compatible to the upgrade full fibre 2'5 + gig. Any help much appreciated Billy

Re: WAP IS MISSING

I have contacted sky and they have confirmed that under PRODUCT SETTINGS it is only showing my SKY PUCK it should also be showing SKY MAX HUB.

They have now escalated this problem and should be sorted in the next 2 to 4 days.

Do you mean WPS?

WAP is a truly antique wireless encryption protocol which really shouldn't be in use.

Re: WAP IS MISSING

My Google equipment has problem connecting with WAP3 and so I reduce it to WAP2 Zconect the device then change it back to WAP3.

THE POINT I am making is that this option is now missing from the MY SKY APP it has been there for years.

Ah, if you mean you need to reduce the wireless security from WPA3-T to WPA2-PSK then that's done in the My Sky app.

Our last posts crossed over.

Wireless security settings should still be in the app.

@Billy2421 You may just have to call sky then, dial 150 from your landline, did a link also on the other posting as did not see the multiples!

All I can say is that's where it should be.  Possibly your app is now confused by the change of product.

@Billy2421 I font have the new Hub 7 that Sky supply for Gigafast+ but thecsetting is certainly there for the Hub 6 Sky Max hub.

The route in My Sky is Product Options/ The hub name/ Advanced Options/ WiFi security and tgecdrop down should show WPA3-T, WPA3 and WPA2. If you can confirm thosexare not showing ideally with a screen shot we can raise this with Sky as they certainly should becthere.

For info this is what I see for my Sky Max hub
