Use of LocalSend app and Access Point (AP) Isolation
Computeractive magazine recommends a file sharing tool called LocalSend to share files between devices on the same wIfi network. When I try to use it devices on the network cannot discover each other Guidance suggests that the network "may not allow communication between participantsdue to Access Point (AP) Isolation. In this case this option must be disabled on the router"
I have never attempted to change router settings before but there seems to be no AP setting. Is there any way I can use the app? It looks to be potentially very useful.

Sky wireless hardware doesn't do client isolation, so whatever the issue is, it's not that.

Thanks for your message. I'm still hoping somebody will advise me how i might be able to use the app - if it is possible using the Sky service. I could send a query to Computeractive but don't have high hopes of getting an answer from there.

@MattDerby not come across this myself but in checking I noticecthe app has its own forum see https://localsend.org/community maybe asking there might help.
