Use Netgear Orbi RBK50 with Sky SR203
Hi,
Is it possible to use a Netgear Orbi RBK50 with Sky SR203?
There is a thread on here linked to from Google, but it unfortunately no longer exists.
The reason we want to use the Orbi is because SR203 Wireless range is too poor.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Use Netgear Orbi RBK50 with Sky SR203
The netgear rbk50 can replace the sr203 on full fibre so long as its on at least the following firmware
RBK50 |
V2.5.0.22 and above |
It can also be used alongside the sr203 with the sr203 wifi disabled
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21
If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up

@Bribble you can use an Orbi unit behind a SR203 if you want for simplicity set the Orbi to operate in access point mode with the Sky hubs wifi turned off. You could set the Orbi in router mode and have a double NAT set up which is bit more complex. Or as @cookiemonsteruk suggests use it directly connected to the ONT if you have full fibre.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
