Upgrading to fibre

I am currently waiting to have my broadband to fibre.  They only sent me an Ethernet cable in the post before the engineer comes round.  Is this correct?

Thats correct its called a conversion kit.  It will plug from the ont fibre modem into lan port 4 on your sky hub which should be with you the day before activation

Typically a conversion kit would only go to an existing Sky FTTC user who already has a Sky Broadband Hub.  New users get a Max Hub.
