Hello, yesterday had a full fibre 500 upgrade installed... previously we had a rock solid broadband connection, albeit limited in speed to around 25-30MB, so decided to take the plunge.
First 24hrs have been massively hit and miss... connection has dropped completely a couple of times (requiring router reset) and speeds at end points in the home seem wildly variable when i run basic speedtests. My work Teams calls have been impacted multiple times and my son who is an avid gamer is fuming at the 'glitchiness' he is experiencing which is a step backwards from what we previously had with our 30MB broadband.
Is it normal to have this instability with a fibre install? I would have thought it would be rock solid from day 1 given the technology involved and not subject to tuning etc?
