Upgrade to FTTP

Hello all, Happy New Year.

Since I got a decent renewal deal earlier this month, I'm tempted to treat myself to an upgrade from Ultrafast to Ultrafast Plus, being that it's only a tenner more per month (£34)

Does this need an Engineer visit, where I already have fttp and the associated kit within the home from existing Ultrafast, or is the upgrade a remote change?

Many thanks.

Re: Upgrade to FTTP

@Wisemanyo

When you have FTTP the upgrade is completely remote.

-------

Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.

@Wisemanyo

Where there's already an ONT and optical cabling in place, there should be no need for installer attendance.

The exception is where existing Ultrafast is being provided over G.fast rather than FTTP.
