Unstable picture

For the past few weeks, when watching tv channels the picture will start to flicker and then go blank.  I have to switch the hub off and on again but it keeps happening.  I thought it might be my tv so bought a new one but the same thing keeps happening.  There are times when I have to give up watching live channels and watch apps instead but I shouldn't have to do that

For live broadcast channels that's not a broadband issue.  Which Sky television platform are you using?
