Unstable internet & privacy warning
When we moved house last year it took months for sky to sort the broadband out and the engineer said we should never have been given the hub we had and that's why the service checker will always say there's a problem with the Q box but he got it such that it worked so we were told to ignore it.
Since then I've had a constant privacy warning on my iPhone saying that the network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic, which again I've ignored.
And now my broadband signal has been really intermittent since Sunday, regularly buffering, the TV wasn't watchable at all for an hour on Sunday, my Mac is constantly telling me that the signal is unstable and my phone is regularly using 4G, but the service checker keeps saying it's fine.
I've tried to WhatsApp sky (having done so previously) but it says my number isn't right and I have no idea what to do next to try and fix this as it just doesn't seem set up right and I don't have all day to be on hold as I'm working. Any ideas please?

Re: Unstable internet & privacy warning
@Skymakemecry Sky hold a mobile number linked to your account which their systems can use to recognise you when you contact them check thst is correct by going into your account details in the My Sky app or website . Although Sky do offer some limited support vis social networking apps like WhatsApp it is a tiny team you have a far better chance to get help by simply calling them.
The number one cause of issues with streaming buffering is issues with the WiFi signal. Rebooting the hub can help if the signal is affected by interference from a neighbour's network. Running the Service Checker in the My Sky app should pick up a slow down in the connection to your hub as it tests speeds daily.
The Encrypted DNS issue is a conflict between Sky's systems like Broadband Shoeld and Apple's privacy features like private wifi address. There are a number of workrounds mine is adding a public DNS address to the network set up like 8.8.8.8 which is Google's.
