Unstable WiFi on sky ultrafast

I'm having issues with my Broadband/wifi

i have sky ultrafast, but at times during the day my download speed measures at aprox 24mbps

i work from hom, constantly having issues with meetings/videos

i have checked my sky through the website and it says everything ok, then when I go back to speed test its fine. 
I have a WiFi extender Near to my home office. Anyone any thoughts?

To be effective, an 'extender' really needs to be as close to midpoint as possible rather than near to either end of the link.
