Unreliable WiFi with max hub

I've got the max hub with fibre 900.  I'm having reliability issues with some devices unable to connect to WiFi.  The particular devices are all older, a cannon printer, a vtech baby monitor and a first gen google home hub.

A while ago all three of these devices lost connection to WiFi.  After some googling I changed my router's security level to back to WPA2 and this fixed the issue for a while.

However, recently all three devices have started disconnecting intermittently.  I've noticed this behaviour:

* when they disconnect, the problem always seem to affect all three

* when they are disconnected they can't find the WiFi network at all

* they are in different parts of the house

* newer devices are not affected

* sometimes the problem fixes itself after a few hours

* sometimes rebooting the router fixes it, sometimes it doesnt

I've verified the security level is still WPA2.  Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Re: Unreliable WiFi with max hub

@andos It is more than likely that the older devices just do not operate well when connected to the Sky Max router, this can be for many reason's and you will find it hard to control the Max as it is well app based. If the devices that you have are important to you an older Extender if you can get it to connect to a Max router generally will help, it is all about where they are and if the Extender wireless can reach those particular devices. The extenders sometimes take the sky ssid name and put a  _ext behind it, you can leave the name alone, connect the devices to that name and see if they can keep connected.
