Unrecognised device on network BSkyB-730.

Just had a pod extender sent by Sky.

Installed not an issue but there is a device attached that I do not recognise.

BSkyB-C730 wired connection, device type generic, connection type wired to the sky max hub.

Is this the ethernet? It's the only device I don't understand.

Any assistance would be appreciated 😀

@M+J+birch Do you have anything connected to either off the sky Max pod Ethernet ports?

No nothing connected to the pod. Does also say wired connection. Only thing wired is the Ethernet cable & Sky Q box. Q box is mentioned/lusted separate.

@M+J+birch Would expect the pod to have 3 Mac addresses for it, one on the wireless wi-fi side and two for the Ethernet ports, believe that device has two nic ports if not mistaken. Mac against the name may give you the Idea what it is, the list can sometimes be as good as a chocolate teapot at times! Mac will be on a label off the pod somewhere!
