Unexpected email from Sky

I received an email with the subject: Right to Cancel.

the body of the message states:

We know you have had some issues with your broadband speed and we've been working hard to fix it.

Unfortunately, we've been unable to resolve it as quickly as we'd want to, which means you have a right to leave your Sky Broadband and Talk contract early without incurring early termination charges. This applies up until your broadband contract ends.

For more details about Sky and Ofcom's Better Broadband Speeds, Voluntary Code of Practice, including your rights to cancel, please visit sky.com/vcop

If you are a Sky Fibre customer you may also be eligible to claim money back under our Sky Speed Guarantee. For more details about Speed Guarantee please visit sky.com/guarantee.

As a valued Sky customer, we'd love to talk to you about finding the right products and services to meet your needs.

Please call us (removed) for more information and for more details on your right to leave, please visit sky.com/vcop

--------
my speed hasn't dropped in the last 27 days... is this a scam or just an incorrectly generated email?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Penny.Farthing

This is not a scam. This email is automatically generated by Sky if your line consistently under performs against Openreach's speed predictions. You may continue as you are or as the email states you have the right to leave your contract without penalty and go elsewhere.
