Unable to get an engineer

I hadn't updated to fibre and my internet feed had an intermittent fault. On advice of the engineer I signed up to fibre with a 17 day wait for installation. After the engineer the current broadband feed got worse and is now pretty much useless. I asked for an engineer to call oas I have one booked for 07/11 to upgrade to fibre I can't get another one leaving me with no internet for almost two weeks now. Any suggestions??
