Turn OFF turn ON 😡

The internet keeps dropping out and reconnecting constantly and this has been going on for several days now. This is extremely frustrating. With the new contract, temporary disruptions were supposed to last up to 48 hours yet they have been going on for a full week. You are well on your way to forcing me to cancel this agreement. 😡

PLEASE BE SO KIND AND FIX THE CONNECTION  ASAP! TIA 🙏

Unfortunately, this is just a customer-to-customer help forum and you are talking to fellow customers.  The moderators may pick this up but you are probably better phoning customer services.

@Tommy36pl  Is this every device or just Alexa?

If it's just one device it does not mean your broadband is dropping rather there is a connection issue with Alexa and your WiFi setup.

Which hub do you have?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@tommy36plo sounds like an intermittent line issue which will likely require an engineer's visit which may requitre several attempts to fix..

Note if you are still in a fixed term contract cancelling could be expensive and moving to a another ISP using the samme line just means the problem moves with you. Best advice is to report the fault to Sky but if you are on a partial fibre service fixing whetther Openreach can fix the fault is not certain but if that happens Sky normally release you from contract.

I suspect you have mistaken the Openreach target time to fix reported faults on domestic connections (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) for a contractual obligation on Sky: I'm afraid this is simply not the case.

Openreach reports to Ofcom that they meet this target for around 85% of faults.
