This is different for me.

My broadband speed varies a lot each day, from super fast to watching the circle of buffering either on our iPads or the TV, the security system logs a connection error mostly once occasionally twice during the early hours between 1am and 3am. I have noticed when the speed is slow all 4 lights on the router turn orange. The router or anything else hasn't changed.

Is this now what is to be expected or does anyone else experience the same problem?

No worries, I phoned sky yesterday and hopefully am sorted. Apparently my router wasn't updating its self, turning it off for 30 minutes seems to of been the answer . I'll keep you posted if this isn't the solution.
