Third party router with 1gb full fibre (phone line affected?)
hi all
just upgrading from 80mb internet to 1gb currently i use an asus third party router DSL-AX82U which works fine with broadband, phone etc no issues. ive heard upgrading to full fibre breaks the phone line which means i would be forced to use sky's hub?
is this true.

@SpoilerN9 Yes it's true, you want to use the sky supplied phone line, then you need to have the sky hub as the first and only connection on the WAN!

Re: Third party router with 1gb full fibre (phone line affected?)
@SpoilerN9 Nothing different if you can get the Asus to route via the wan port which i think that it can but will go look at the Tech manual for it, assume that you are just trying to avoid double Nat, which may cause you zero issues anyway until you try! Is there a reason why you are going Gigabit FF as your preferred option!

Re: Third party router with 1gb full fibre (phone line affected?)
why would i not go gigabit? its the best option
il probably just use the sky router and setup an AP router elsewhere in the house.
