Terrible WiFi connection

I really would like to speak to a real person, but this seems impossible. For a couple of months now, WiFi has been very hit and miss. Not ideal when working from home. This is causing issues with connection to the sky Q mini box that we have upstairs. My partner is very ill so this is used such a lot. We are no unable to watch anything on the Sky Q box as it won't connect. Tried everything that has been suggested online but with no stable internet connection, it is impossible.

I have checked the status on the Sky app, which all shows everything is fine but this really is not the case. I pay an awful amount of money on a monthly basis for a very poor service.

I agree entirely. I bought a new Sky package to include phone and wifi. The deal was supposed to be less than our previous package.  It is far  more expensive and we have no connectivity for mobile phones - right next to the hub!  We already have one 'booster' and that doesn't seem to work either.  We had ,guaranteed' covergae across the house but it simply doesn't work.  Like the previous person, the health check shows it is working!

Re: Terrible WiFi connection

Connection been a bit hit and miss since the start, especailly during hot weather for some reason bt for some reason today it has just shut down completely. Connections good apparently but still no service. Think I managed to book an engineer but lost connection again and so unable to track the ticket... Can't speak to any customer serivce to find out what the problem is or when it's likely to be fixed so currently looking for another provider

Re: Terrible WiFi connection

We did have some heatwave recently. The routers did get hot specially if placed in confinded spaces like mine that is inside a TV cabinet

My Deco was also a bit warm to touch but then decided to add a USB cooling fan 😊 The Sky router was never warm as it was not dealing with any Wi-Fi.

The Sky black router is connected in the backgroud doeing whatever but the Wi-Fi is managed by the very "cool Deco".

I appreciate my routers are stored inside a TV cabinet, not ideal location for a router but no issues with Wi-Fi.
