Terrible Internet

I have recently got full fibre max broadband and had nothing but problem after problem from the get go. After finally getting Internet and it supposedly being 148mbps it's slow and glitchy and can't get through a show or YouTube video without it buffering or freezing every 2 seconds. All the lights are green and the app tells me everything is good. On the PS5 it sometimes says Internet failed but when it does work and I run the network test it's usually showing around 12-16mbps I even tried changing the DNS to see if that helped.

@NatHeap the modt lijely issue is poor WiFi connection between the hub snd your PS5. Check thst yhe hub is in the besst possible position which is off the floor on a surfacecaway from other equipment, you msy need to use a longer `Etgernet cable between the ONT where the fibre terminates and the hub but those can be bought locally.

 

After that you may need to get a WiFi extender which can come as part of tge WiFi Max package. However for a gzmes console WiFi is never ideal far better is either direct Ethernet from the hub or assuming that is imprsctical look into buying a powerline.networking kit where the adapters communicate using your home's mains wiring.
