Re: Talk Talk wifi extender
@MaryMcG1 it might work why not try it? Without knowing details of the unit its impossible to tell.
However you would be better getting an extender that matches your Sky hub as then the two units wont interfere as any third party unit might. Sky dont sell extenders and technicaly even if you buy their add on package they wont supply a booster for the garden. However you can pick one up online but buy the type that looks like a white version of your black Sky hub.

Re: Talk Talk wifi extender
Thanks for your reply Chrisee. Tried the Talk Talk extender but it made no difference! Disappointed that Sky are trying to charge extra for what I believe should be an acceptable level of wifi range. Will be looking go change supplier at renewal.

Re: Talk Talk wifi extender
@MaryMcG1 wifi range depends on where the hub is, what type of construction your home is built from and the level of interference which are all outside Sky's control.
Wifi reception in a garden is always difficult because external walls are normally double thickness which block almost all of the signal. You can sometimes get round that by placing the wifi extender etc in a window. Sky do offer add on packages like Broadband boost but they only cover wifi speeds in your home.

Re: Talk Talk wifi extender
Sorry but its entirely unreasonable to expact that any ISP would include WiFi coverage in your garden by default, infact I do not know any ISP that does. The fact you got it with TT is just sheer luck.
If you want coverage in your garden you'd need to try a Sky booster or look at a 3rd party WiFi solution.
