TP Link Powerline Adapter drops out when devices are connected

We have a home gym in the garden connected to the Sky WiFi through a TP Link Powerline adapter. All worked well for 4 years. Last week we started to see dropouts as soon as we connected the gym equipment to the WIFI. I replaced the TP Link but the same thing happens. We have an old SKY Q router and I wondered if we have too many devices connected to it now or there has been some other failure
