Super fast fibre in my area

We have had fibre broadband installed in the surrounding areas (not just our village but across the area) and yet Sky are saying there is none in my area & what's going on? It's impossible to speak to someone about this and explaining this without being hit with contract updates and renegotiation!!! And ...told by the service advisor if you rate me below 9 it counts as zero! Pressure much Sky?! Not happy at all.

Sky appears to be slow in updating its sales systems when FTTP becomes available in a particular area.

That's unfortunate, but difficult to prevent, particularly in overseas contact centres.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

Also note that Sky (like most ISPs) doesn't use optical infrastructure installed by any of the numerous smaller altnet providers.
