Stream puck won’t connect to internet

Sky puck is connected to broadband router, but not Internet. Multiple resets and following guidlines it just keeps disconnecting. Has been doing this since getting sky package. Considering cancelling due to constant issues. Haven't been able to watch a show on tv channel without disconnecting mid way.

wifi works fine on other devices in house, just not on stream puck.

@Ggwazza Is the puck connected to the sky Hub by a wired or a wireless wifi connection?

Wireless at present as it means pulling the TV off the wall to connect it via cable. The router is in same room also so no concerns for distance between the 2.

@Ggwazza So where did you stick the puck then direct behind the TV?

No, the puck is on a shelf just next to the TV.

I have the exact same problem I telling everyone to avoid sky TV at all costs as u can't watch anything without the stream puck losing connection every ten minutes or so.

@Malloy oddly myself and a few million other customers watch TV everyday using Sky Stream pucks with no significant issues. I have had 3 pucks and a Glass TV since launch in 2021 with less issues than tge Sky Q system it replaced.

However you do need a decent stable data cinnection whether by WiFi or. Ethernet that can deliver around 30Mb/s if you want to watch in UHD. You can easily check the connection quality and speed to the puck. The WiFi connection quality is shown the Network settings and you can test the speed by running the Network test in the Get Help menu of the Netflix app.
