Stream Puck connects and freezes

I am a new user. I have 300Mb Wi-Fi and Broadband works fine. The stream puck connects to the Wi-Fi and opens ok. I start to watch a programme and within 10-20 seconds the screen freezes. Tried all the reset options. Tried it at different times of day over the past couple of days and no difference. Becoming a very frustrated customer very quickly.
