Stolen broadband line
Approximately a year ago our internet suddenly lost total connection. It turned out that our broadband line was stolen by an open reach engineer who was setting up internet for a new neighbour. It took 6 weeks to fix (with no compensation even for the subscription fees we'd paid, despite multiple complaints), required endless engineers to eventually figure out the problem and an entire new connection up be set up.
We suspect that this has now happened again as there was an openreach engineer outside our property when the internet went down. This engineer drove off when we tried to approach. Openreach were not interested when we called them.
We cannot get on to an actual person at Sky to get this sorted. We have an engineer booked for tomorrow, however last time, multiple engineers who could not fix the issue were sent so I have no confidence that tomorrow's visit will result in our internet being fixed unless the booking is for the correct type of engineer.
Any advice on how to get this resolved quickly? I cannot wait 6 weeks for a fix again, and I was ready to leave Sky last time this happened due to their handling of this.

Hi @Jess1431
You aren’t talking to Sky by posting here. If you are new to the forum then welcome to the Community which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers.
It appears from your post that you did contact someone from Sky which resulted in the planned visit for tomorrow. Is that not the case?
You need to explain to the engineer what you think has happened but perhaps don't mention the unsubstantiated allegation of theft by a previous engineer.
