Static ip on lan

Hi I'm new to the forum so go easy on me. I have the sky max router and I'm trying to set specific static ip's for network cameras, however the changes will not set even though they show as saved. The network cameras still show the dhcp address. I have read that this a router problem is that right? If so is there a way round it. Thanks

@KevD2021 one method is to use the Sky Max router's web interfacecatv192.168.0.1 the log in is admin as the user and the default wifi password as the password.

Once in the web interface navigate to the connection section then local IP config. On thst ppage you can edit the end sddress for the hub's DHCP server I use 192.168.0.100 which means Incan assign addresses for devices needing a fixed IP address starting at 192.168.0.101 up to 192.168.0.254.

Re: Static ip on lan

Hi Chrisee thanks for your reply. I can limit the scope of the dhcp ip range but I don't have the ability to set a static ip address on all the devices I need it on because they don't have that option in their software. I don't suppose there's another option is there?
