Social media not working on WiFi

For the last two weeks, social media hasn't been working on our WiFi. The tv and other aspects of the WiFi are fine, but messaging services such as WhatsApp or Facebook messenger won't load or send or receive messages. This is happening on both mine and my partners phone, and my dads phone when he comes round so it isn't a phone issue it's the WiFi. We aren't in a contract anymore and to be honest we've had nothing but problems with our hub ever since we've owned it. This problem needs to be looked into and sorted or we will be looking for a new provider as we are now paying more than we were for a service that doesn't even work. I have tried resetting the hub and unplugging all the cables but nothing works, we have now been using mobile data for two weeks when we are paying for WiFi and it's a joke and clearly not sorting itself out.

@Dean156 most likely cause is that the Broadbsnd Shield setting is set to block social media. Easy to sort by the account holder logging into the My Sky app and finding the setting and increasing the age range. See https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-broadband-shield-start
