Slow internet

I have just moved back to sky broadband today and our Internet is running very slowly. I have done the speed checks and that is coming back fine but loading apps and websites is extremely slow, ir they aren't loading. Is this something to do with the fact that we have just been connected?

@Maddie86 if the connection speed is correct there could be other issues. If it is a new install check that the setting for Broadband Shield is correct as by default it is set to filter traffic like social nnetworking apps. Thecsetting is in the My Sky app under product options.
