Slow internet speed

Sky app claims my

 speed is 71 mbp/s but an internet speed test shows 1.53 mbp/s. Can't even watch a 10 second clip on social media. Have to switch phone off wifi and use 4G it's a joke.

@Benspring  Where in the property is the router located and what device are you using to measure the speed and how is it connected?

The router is downstairs and the device I was using is upstairs. We live in a very small house. I used a Google search internet speed test on the iPad
