Slow internet in one room
Hi, not sure if anyone can help me here, we had sky installed a couple of days ago, the signal is dropping in the upstairs bedrooms, and websites aren't loading. Our router is in the cupboard in the living room as this is where the open reach ONT box is, so I don't believe we can install it anywhere else? Is there anything I can do. I've ran a speed test today which days 313 and we should have 500 speed.

Re: Slow internet in one room
313mbps is very good over WiFi, you will do well to achieve more than that. The 500mbps figure is intended for ethernet connected devices.
As for coverage, ideally you wouldnt have the router in a cupboard, you can move it away with a longer ethernet cable. If not you could look at getting boosters via the Sky WiFi Max or Sky Boost addons.
