Slow internet connection

Ever since we have had full fibre installed earlier this year our internet speed has been awful and is getting worse. At best we are getting 3 bars of wifi (usually 2) and this is making our daily use of internet incredibly difficult. We work from home and I am often in meetings and it's very frustrating when every 5-10 minutes my internet freezes and cuts me off. This is impacting my ability to be able to fully contribute in meetings and is beginning to look unprofessional. When our sky bill has increased over 3 consecutive months, I find it very challenging to justify remaining with Sky as our provider when we are not getting value for money. I would appreciate it if someone could check this as a matter of urgency.

@Harry2310 you are not talking to Sky when posting in this forum. Many people report slower WiFi after a fibre install.

if your hub has been moved which commonly happens when full fibre is installed that will cause the WiFi signal to change. In a few cases where customers have Skype Q and the switch to fibre came with a new white Sky hub the Q boxes stop acting as WiFi extenders which also changes the WiFi signal.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.
