Slow internet browsing

I switched from BT broadband to Sky a few months ago. While the download speed is similar the time taken to connect to & browse websites / use application is very slow.

 

This feels like a DNS / traffic routing / gateway performance problem, rather than bandwidth. 

 

Bottom line is that standard tests show that the line speed is good but the user experience is poor.

 

I have performed multiple resets of the sky router, cleared cache and browser histories etc. 

If I disconnect from the Sky WIFI and use 4G, everything works fine / browsing is fast. 

 

Please investigate.

@dkfinkbone  Is there any devices that you have to change the DNS manually to see if that is in fact the issue?
