Slow download speed
On the MySky app I can see download speeds of 400-500Mb/s (I'm on Full Fibre 500). When I do a speed test on my phone, when I'm stood next to my router I get speeds on 10Mb/s.
We previously had over 100Mb/s. I've changed the Ethernet cable and even tried a different router but nothing has improved.
Does anyone have any ideas?!

Re: Slow download speed
@RobboG move a couple of metres from the hub in the same room and rerun the speed test. The aerials in the hub are optimised to create a horizontal signal and you can get low signal ,kevel if you are literally just above the unit. If you get a similar result there is an issue assuming the hub is out in the open on a surface above obstructions like radiators etc. reboot the hub if its still the same call Sky as the hub needs replacing.

Re: Slow download speed
Thanks Chrisee.
I've moved a few metres away and still experiencing the same issue.
i can talk to Sky but we bought a TP Link router (as I thought it could be a router issue) and the speed didn't improve.
We started experiencing issues when we moved to Gigafast 5 months ago but then moved back to full fibre as Gigafast wasn't compatible with Sky Q and it's gradually got worse. Aswell as the really slow speeds the wifi signal drops out about 5 metres away from the router too...

I'm a bit puzzled by what you've done here to be honest, Sky Gigafast is full fibre (FTTP) as is the Gigafast+ (2.5 & 5Gbps service).
You say you bought a TP-Link router? Did you replace the Sky router entirelY or are you talking about a TP-Link extender?
Edit: BTW, the speed to the hub reported on the MySky app is the speed you're getting, the wifi speed and stability are entirely separate.

Re: Slow download speed
I've probably comnfused things. We upgraded to Gigafast, we had a bunch of issues with it so went back to Full Fibre 500 and our wifi speed and stability have been terrible since then.
We thought it might be the router so tried changing the router (to a TP Link one) but still
experience the same issues.
