Slow Fibre internet

Can someone please help me 🙂

My fibre 1000mbs is soo slow that even netflix buffers..

I have the 1gb package and had it now for about 6-8 months so assuming its now settled i was expecting better i suppose...

If i look at the router settings they all look ok, even the SKY Service Checker tells me I am getting over 600mbs but... I fi run ANY online speed checker they ALL say about 90-100mbs, although often say alot less...

My speed checks are done with my PC and/or with my LAPTOP connected via cat6 ethernet cables and with WIFI turned of, So there is only ever one device connected whilst i speed test..

I have not phones SKY as of yet because all they will say is you have too much connected...

@martin_nextdoor What is the Interface NIC in the PC and the Laptop, have a look at the properties on each and make sure the sync is 1000/1000 for the values, One bad connection on the cable will bring those down to 100/100 or if you have set the hub for Fast Ethernet or using a Fast Switch those are only rated for 100Mb/s speeds!
