Skys test is incorrect

So id like to know how sky can say the hub and broadband is fine on my account test to my house yet my router is orange and no Internet?

Please do explain this conundrum? Or is you online test actually not a test and just incorrectly advertised as such?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

The service checker runs tests at intervals the results you see are from the last time the test ran - it tells when that was below the test results. If you click to run the test again you should get the current position .

Most of the posts in this thread were made between midnight and 5am which is when routine maintenance is carried out. If the connection is back to normal by morning you can assume thst was the issue. There is no way around this as networks need to be maintained and improved. Work always happens overnight as usage is much lower but it is a pain if you want to use the connection when this happens
