SkyQ hub security

Hi, I think I've changed the admin password as requested by Sky due to the fact that as from the 31 December my Sky Q hub will longer receive security updates. Is there any way to check if it has been successfully updated.

@AJ62

Try logging in from an anonymous browser session: the admin / sky combination shouldn't work.

Perhaps note that changing the admin password actually does almost nothing to enhance your own security because using it only works within the local network anyway.

I've just logged in to sky admin on another browser using my new password and it worked so thank you for your help.

Have you followed the instructions here to order a newer hub which still gets updates , for free?

@AJ62 Keep in mind if you have to go fttp, although that sky Q hub will work, there will be a complete loss of voice on the sky Talk landline network!
