Sky saying incorrect password

Yet again devices dropped wi-fi and saying incorrect password. Sick of this happening every time a 'new' upgrade is available (at cost!!).

@Caro404 unless you have got a new hub the wifi passwords should remain the same. The only two ways that can change is firstly you are not using the default wifi password and somebody has reset the hub back to its factory settings which can be done byvpressing and holding in the reset pin on the hub. Alternstively someone has accessed the hub's web interface and changed it there.

The most common reason is somebody is changing the password maliciously, kids have been known to do this to wind parents up or a neighbour is doing it maliciously after gaining access. If either of those are a possibility you should change the password tto gain access to the hub's settings as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/find-and-change-your-wireless-password

If you can absolutely rule both out then call Sky as the hub is not working properly.

@Chrisee
Trust me neither of your suggestions is the reason.

Re: Sky saying incorrect password

I have the same issue, every 6 months or so I have to reset the WiFi hub because it says the password is wrong. Then have to reconnect every device. Far from ideal.

There is no one in the house hold who can change it. It is something to do with Sky.
