Sky max

I have an issue with my new sky max white router, as my speed has gone from 156 mbs to 94.3 and after a hard reset managed to get 126.4mbs but not as good as my old router on super fast broadband and switched to full fibre 150 , yet a neighbour who has virgin router gets 420mbs ?, but mine at present keeps dropping out and says we have no WiFi and light on router goes yellow/ red and comes back on and also my iPad doesn't work in the bedroom since taking the new router.

although open reach laying cables in the area so don't know if that's anything to do with issues ??

By definition a Virgin Media M500 connection is going to be rather faster than a 150Mbs FTTP product from any Openreach ISP.

@Sparky69

'Superfast' is up to 80Mbs FTTC, reduced by copper line length.

150Mbs FTTP has a 'guaranteed minimum' of 100Mbs.

Virgin M500 is a 500Mbs service, so to get similar on Sky you'd need to order Ultrafast+ (AKA 'Full Fibre 500')
