Sky max pod is slow

so I recently got a sky max pod and I'm using ethernet connection to my Pc from the pod  and I'm only getting around 80 to 100 Mbps download speed I also connect to the pod to my phone and I used to get 300 to 400 Mbps download speed now I only get about 60. Is this pod really rubbish or am I doing something wrong? I have the 500mbps package

@91Stacey Break it down, switch the pc off or disconnect the Ethernet then test the wireless wifi connection device to Pod and Pod to the Hub get the speed that way, pod switched off and speed again see what is all working!

Ethernet connected PC to the Pod is still wireless to wireless wifi connection between the POD-Hub.

I don't really understand what you mean. I literally only get around 80 MBPS on my pc with Ethernet  connected to pod. and when I connect to my regular Wi-Fi box on my phone I get around 300 to 400 MBPS, but when I connect to the sky max port which is literally next to me, I only get about 60

I can't comment on your individual set up. But the pod in general is a great piece of kit. I get around three-quarters of maximum speed with a PC wired to the pod and run my Stream Puck from it permanently. The pod needs a strong connection to the router so it could be that you've placed the pod in a poor WIFI reception spot.

the wifi pod is directly above the hub (up 1 floor) and I've tried moving it around I still keep getting poor speeds

@91Stacey The Ethernet port connection on your PC what is the sync properties should be one off two, 1000/1000 or 100/100.

The connection between the Pod and the sky Max hub is a wireless wifi connection so it will go only as fast as the wireless between both those two devices. That is why you test say 100Mb/s on the mobile with the pod on, pod off still 100Mb/s the POD is not working your device is going direct to the sky Max hub both testing times..

It's 1000/1000 I believe. I don't think it's my PC or Ethernet  cable it's literally just the pod. I'm what do you mean by with the pod on off because when I switch it off at the wall and my Wi-Fi speed test I get about 300 to 400 Mbps and with it on and connected to the pod I only get about 60 to 100

@91Stacey Here is a properties screen although the example is on a wireless wifi connection will give you the idea what to look at once it gets cleared for general viewing.

I have the same problem. Does the pod take a while to settle down and maximise speed?
