Sky max hub stuck in set up

I've been with sky for a few years, broadband and streaming has been a bit glitchy of late despite paying for the broadband boost so I thought I'd upgrade to Sky max. New hub turned up, tried to connect it as per instructions and it has a white light on, my mobiles been able to connect to the new WiFi and I've reset my Sky Q box by 'connecting to another provider' as it wouldn't recognise the hub otherwise.

But on MySky app it's stuck in the installation phase and has been since yesterday. When I test the broadband it says there is a problem and there is no info about my WiFi.

New WiFi is showing up on devices and working although a bit slow.

 

Any idea how to get the hub recognised on the app? And why would connection not be as good if router in exactly the same spot as the old one?

Can anyone help? New max hub is stuck in the setting up stage on MySky app so can't check or alter any of the settings. Over a week since I connected it. Internet is working but speed variable and sometimes apps on TV aren't loading at all.

@Natnoodly sign out of the app and close it completly then restart the app and sign in from scratch. If thst doesnt help,call Sky as they will have to check your account permissions.
