Sky hub login barely possible?

Hi. I have a problem connecting to my sky hub to change settings. The login prompt just kicks you out every time you log in. This appears to be a common issue with the new hub. I have managed to get in once to change my Ssid and WiFi password. I have tried 3 phones my computer and laptop. The login prompt just comes straight back up. Very occasionally it shows the router page. But then selecting any option again kicks you back to the login prompt. This router is messed up. Any ideas or request a replacement?

If that's the white Max Hub then it's intended to be administered through the My Sky app, not a browser connection.

There's also a known problem using Safari over WiFi for Hub administration of previous models.

Ok..well it's the black one. I assumed new as only just got it. 

And I've tried several browsers on the pc and all do the same. Totally confused.

admin as the username 

and

the wifi password (the second white label  down on the back of the router) as the password

Yes admin as login.

Although my WiFi password is now different as I managed to change it the 1 time it let me in.

But original WiFi pass doesn't work. Or new pass.

Don't want to reset it again and took me 3 hours to get in the thing before.

Are you trying to connect always via wifi, or have you tried ethernet on your pc or laptop if they

have such connection and if you have a cable.

Please also bare in mind that the router has 2 passwords.

1 for the SSID and also one for the Router Administration, so not sure which one you changed.

If you did not change the admin one then the label still applies.

Router reset option always changes back to this if you do the manual reset.

Use this page to change the password you use to access these pages.

This isn’t your My Sky password.

The new password must be 10 characters long, contain an upper case letter [A~Z], a lower case letter [a~z], and a number [0~9].

If you change the password and you have backed up the Sky Hub settings previously, you should do a new back up so that the file includes the new password.

For security, the Administrator's login to the Sky Hub will timeout after a period of inactivity. To change the login timeout period:

• Type the value in the Administrator login times out after idle for field. The suggested default value is 5 minutes.

Yes I realise there are 2 passwords . One for WiFi and one to access the router. Same as my last one.

Ok so I'm managing to occasionally get the router to show the pages. But then again asks for the password again when you click any option. And still keeps popping up the logging prompt..sometimes with an insecure connection warning.

Ok think i found the problem. Reset the router. Did a full cache clean on the pc browser. And disabled cloud fair. I can now get in.

Was something odd going on there somewhere.

Glad you got it sorted, would still be good to know if WiFi/Ethernet issue.

I do both laptop is always on WiFi as no physical port, but desktop is always

ethernet as it does not have any wireless capability.

Generally find that there is NEVER an issue getting in, timeout sometimes happens

but not always.....

Was strange. The pc is wired but most other things wireless.
