Sky fibre visit

So today we was meant to have sky put in our fibre to the property and activation day as well 

I booked a days holiday for this as the visit was between 8am and 1pm 

At 9:45 they put a card through my door without knocking on door or phoning my mobile phone 

There was 2 cars in our drive a dog that barks if someone knocks on door 

I've spoken with sky about this and they said there is nothing they can do accept reschedule the visit in 2 weeks time 

This is absolutely shocking from sky 

Has anyone had this done to them

Not that it's an excuse, but what was the weather like at that time?

 

Trying to do fibre splicing in driving rain isn't fun.

The weather was overcast but not raining at 9:45am
