Sky broadband tracking number not working

Got a tracking number from sky broadband and doesn't work in royal mail website. Just has a bunch of numbers no letters. Get an error on roymail website. Any ideas?

@theaaj  Does the tracking say that is the carrier?

Some Royal mail tracking numbers only work when a delivery attempt is made so it may not show until then. Also most tracking numbers take 12-24 hours to go live after you get it
