Hi! I've been paying for sky booster for years now and I didn't realise it comes in a separate little box? So am I owed money from sky as I having been paying for something I don't have?

It sounds like you have been paying for Sky Broadband Boost and not a booster as per this:

So I'm afraid I don't think you are owed anything.

Sky broadband boost is a package addon to your broadband contract which provides perks. It does not automatically entitle you to a WiFi booster.

A booster is provided if you are unable to get WiFi in every room in your home, to claim one you have to call Sky.
