Who are you using to reconnect. Because Vodafone can <removed> then <swearing> again with their poor handling of this. Spent hours with them to sort to then get the phone call from India saying cancelled 3 times. Despite a sky disconnect date.

Has anyone has any success changing providers yet? Sky are ceasing my line on the 19th and have put that cease through to cityfibre but my
new chosen supplier (yayzi) cannot place the order as sky is showing as active (which I assume will show until the 19th)
not sure how to move forward with this, has anyone contact cityfibre direct?

So i had to get sky to disconnect me straight away so i could go ahead with placing the order through vodafone.
Any new supplier will not see your line until your current service has been deactivated.
Even CityFibre have said that you wont be able to order through a provider until sky have disconnected you.
I have had to get a temporary 4g connection to tie me over in the meantime whilst i am awaiting the 'install' even though i still have all the correct equipment.
My mother was with talktalk and had no issue in swapping from one supplier to another.
This is obviously due to us been test subjects on a new private network that has since been bought by cityfibre.
Just had the official letter from sky regarding the end date for UFO products of 31/10/22 just to make everyone aware.

Hi Yes Tom absolutely right, best this to do es get disconnect date as soon as possible from sky, once you know it's off then place order with new on.
while I am on, and after my very poor experience with Vodafone I can absolutely recommend using Giganet.
they have UK agents, WhatsApp communication and service like I haven't seen in years. Read reviews on trustpilot. And negative ones clearly don't understand the process. So Sky stopped my service on Friday 2nd (yesterday) Giganet were on steroids to help, and new router is on the way, account set up, and engineer visit booked Tuesday 6th to change the ONT in the house as the sky one is a bit old so all new equipment, £40 per month full 900mbs up and down 3 months free and amazing customer service. Really hope it helps anyone get sorted as this is a poor show from Sky. They even charged me the £47 for September which I will now have to call to get back, seriously poor.
giganet all the way.
thanks

Unfortunately, going with BT for me would mean a retrograde step in just fibre to cabinet, copper cables to rear of property, multi users and snails pace service. Giganet do not seem available in YO31.

Hi David. If you had SkY UFO. Giganet use the same infrastructure on cityfibre. I would give them a call to check rather than rely on the website. I would be surprised if they were not on there. Good luck

Thanks @pauljf , we were going to go with yayzi but their communication has slowed right down and I have had to chase a lot to see what's happening.
I'm considering moving to giganet after reading your comments, will give them a call.
