Hi. Just rejoined Sky Broadband and been given a SR203. The Firmware on the router is 7.02.0501.R. When checking on th sjy website it says the latest version is 7.03.0400.R. I have had the router about a week. Should it of updated to the latest version by now. I have been reading the fourum and many replies saying to wait and it will update overnight. I did follow one bit of advice to reset the router which apparently makes it check for a update but still nothing. Is there a timescale of how long until it updates. Many thnaks for reading.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Killersjp Sky control the firmware version on Sky hubs and there is no way for customers to force an update. It is not unusual for the whole fleet of hubs to take weeks to be updated. Given there are several million of each type it makes sense to stagger the releases.
Sky very rarely even tell anyone what is in each release the times I have known them to say anything is where a specific issue is being addressed which isnt the current position AFAIK.

Sky dev's do have a tendency to inadvertently introduce as many bugs as they fix,
So sometimes being on a later batch of updates, works to your advantage👍
